As a former advertising executive Marsha brings strong skills in negotiation, marketing and communications to the real estate profession. She spent 13 years with the boutique firm of Ritchie-Hallanan, before the firm was acquired by Alain Pinel Realtors in 2007.
In her first year as a residential real estate agent, 1994, she was elected Ritchie-Hallanan's Rookie of the Year. She was was consistently one of the firm's top producing agents. She has continued to be a Top Performer at Alain Pinel. She has repeatedly qualified for the prestigious Alain Pinel President's Roundtable, including an exceptional performance with over $30 million in sales volume in 2013. Marsha was named to the Real Trends 2014 List as on of the top 0.1% of all agents nationwide, and has earned the America's Best Real Estate Agents badge. She was selected as a Power Producer for Leading Real Estate Companies of the World, and she is a member of San Francisco's Top Agent Network.
As a Relocation Specialist she brings both personal and professional experience. As a child, Marsha went to five different schools before Junior High, as her dad was transferred from City to City moving up the "corporate ladder." As a young professional in the retail advertising industry, Marsha was relocated three times in three years by her company, moving from Kansas City to San Francisco to Dallas and back to San Francisco again. She has great empathy for relocating individuals and their families.
Marsha is a 30-year resident of San Francisco, who grew up in Kansas City and formerly lived in Washington, D.C. She is actively involved in the community: She served as President and top individual fundraiser for California Pacific Medical Center's pediatric fundraising organization, The Little Jim Club. fundraising for pediatric programs at California Pacific Medical Center. She was a member of the inaugural committee in 2011 for the Gladstone Institute's first annual fundraising event, which raised $1 million for research on cures for life's most devastating diseases: Alzheimer's, HIV/AIDS, Parkinson's and heart disease.
In December 2007 Marsha joined a People-to-People excursion to Rwanda, visiting orphanages and villages to learn about the ongoing reconciliation efforts in this formerly war-torn African nation. While in Rwanda she also visited Volcanos National Park, trekking to see the nearly extinct Mountain Gorillas inhabiting the forests there. She continues to support the Urukundo Home for Children orphanage in Rwanda.
Marsha received her bachelor's degree in Journalism from the University of Kansas.
